ICC Under-19 World Cup 2012 started today on 11th August 2012 with first match between Pakistan Under-19 vs Afghanistan Under-19. Pakistan Under-19 won the 1st match of U-19 WC 2012 comprehensively. Babar Azam played superb innings of 75 and Muhammad Nawaz smashed quick innings of 66 runs off just 50 balls.

2. Australia Under-19 vs England Under-19 The over by Ball, in hindsight, was the differentiator. The partnership between Bosisto and Head swung the match Australia’s way when it seemed that the match was delicately poised.
England Captain AJ Ball reckons that winning the toss might have made a difference. He felt if they could have knocked over a couple of wickets after lunch it could’ve been a different story
Australian Captain WG Bosisto said that the bowlers exploited the conditions well and the pace at which Head scored made the difference for his team.
Travis Head has been awarded the Man of the match for his half-century
