Sri Lankan chase was not appreciable too and they crumbled 3 quick wickets struck by Aussies bowlers at 37 runs when Sri Lanka were suffering at 37-4. Janith Perera unbeaten 22 runs off 28 balls brought Sri Lanka to a historical win against Australia at their home.
