Match Preview

South Africa Captain AB de Villiers is very confident to win this year’s T20 World Cup.  South Africa has to take this match seriously as they were beaten twice by Zimbabwe in previous three T20 matches in un-official Tri Series. South Africa already faced a big set back as 5 of their players get ill but they are expected to be fit before the match. A Morkel is also facing some fitness problem and will miss this match.

Zimbabwe did not performed well in their opening match against host Sri Lanka. They were completley destroyed by Sri Lankan spin twins. Zimbabwe looks far much better than the performance against Sri Lanka. It is not easy to cause an upset against South Africa but they will surely try their best to win.

F du Plessis and Captain AB de Villiers are the key players in the South Africa batting order. Both play aggressively and can score quickly in an conditions. D Steyn is the main Fast bowling weapon South Africa will heavily relying on him throughout this tournament.

B Taylor was missed out in the game against Sri Lanka as he was dismissed 1st ball. But he will be the only hope for his side in the batting department. E Chigumbura is also another key man for Zimbabwe.

Pitch Condition

Habantota pitch did not helps the bowlers in the First game of the tournament. Sri lanka manage to post a huge total. It looks like the same again. So batting first will be the good option.
