Pakistani players are practicing day and night to make effective comeback in the series. They have lost their first one day match against South Africa and now, it’s the second one day match to show their real side. The 2nd one day game will be played on 15th March at Centurion in Super Sport Park. The match is scheduled to play at 12:30 GMT or 14:30 local or 17:30 PKT. The players are working hard to come back in the series with shocking and knocking performances. Captain has motivated the boys not to lose their hopes and fight to level the series. They have chance to make amendments with their previous performances. The captain has optimistic approach about the aggressive comeback in ODI series.

Before the series, misunderstandings between Mohammad Hafeez and Misbah ul Haq were the hot topics for everyone. But at one occasion, vice captain has denied all the news and skirmish with Misbah. He further said that the team is ready to play as one unit in the series.

The nationwide team has performed in seven matches at Centurion so far in which, they have got success in three. The visitors are playing on this land after Champions Trophy of 2009.

Meanwhile, the former opening duo of Mohsin Khan and Mudassar Nazar recommended to work on their top order so that, these three positions could stabilize the batting lineup of Pakistan. They supported Misbah’s idea to use Kamran Akmal as an opener or a third positioned batsman for the 50 overs matches, in order to get the best from wicketkeeper.

Misbah is considering Kamran Akmal to bat as an opener in the ground but Mohammad Hafeez opposed this idea as he wanted to open the match for his team. Misbah is saying so by looking at the previous records of Kamran Akmal as an opener. He has participated in 144 matches of which, he has played in 62 games as an opener and made 1617 runs with the average of 55.15%. He has been asked to play as a middle order batsmen in which he is not so good. It might be possible that Kamran is not made for this spot due to which, he was not able to perform effectively like he always do. In the first one day match, he has contributed just two runs on ten balls which is the worst for a top order brilliant batsman.

On the contrary, the South African players are in full form and they are ready to compensate defeat in T20 series. Their opening was not so amazing but, when their top ordered batsman AB de Villars and middle order batsman Colin Ingram stepped in to the ground, they were knocking as well as shocking. Both has great contribution to team’s success, de Villars has made 65 runs from 83 balls while, Colin Ingram has made third century of his career with 105 runs from 137 balls. Remaining batsmen were also somewhat supportive.

As far as their bowling department in considered, Rory Kleinveldt and Ryan McLaren were impressive as they have got four and three wickets respectively. Although, they are missing Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn, but the team has proved that they can do whatever they want if they are united. The players are looking forward to continue their success in second and remaining matches.
