Will it be the bleeding blue or the glowing green at the Eden? With an unexpected loss against Pakistan in the first ODI, India will be looking to fight back and keep their hopes alive in the series. On the other hand Pakistan will be looking to seal the series with another win. With a tense finish expected between the arch rivals, both the teams will be trying to give their best to stay on the winning note. You can Watch Muhammad Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed batting highlights video for 141 runs 1st wicket partnership for Pakistan.

Pakistan will try to continue their winning momentum with another notable performance. They will depend a lot on their bowling unit to restrict the formidable batting lineup of India. They have done it in the first match and will look to do the same again.

Junaid Khan has been very good and sometimes remembers the great Wasim Akram. With his decent speed and swing, he will be the go to man for Misbah . With Mohammad Irfan on the other hand, the fast bowling pair will be tough to score against. Saeed Ajmal will also need to fire and can take crucial wickets in the middle overs of the game. He will try to take the inspiration from Swann who performed well against India few days back at the same ground.

Umar Gul will be ever reliable and will be trying to guide the young fast bowlers in the team. He knows that he will be crucial at the death and need to contend India with a tight line. All rounders Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik need to take the role of the fifth bowler and complete their quota with low economy rate.

Pakistan batting is well mixed with young talent in form of Nazir Jamshed, Azhar and experienced minds of Malik and Younis. Nazir Jamshed is in good form and with an average more than 300 against India, he will be looking to continue the dominance. Malik and Younis who also have a better record against India will look to perform well.

On the other hand, India need to put some decent show in Eden. They have some positives to take from 1st ODI but they were not enough to win the game. Kumar had a very good debut as he had in the T20 internationals. He will look to continue it and not repeat the mistakes he done in the 2nd T20 match.

Sharma and Ashwin bowled with good economy but there needs to be more wicket taking deliveries which they rarely bowled in the previous match. Ishant is getting better and better with the time since the recovery from the Injury. Hope he regains the touch again and this will be the key for him against Australia too.

With Zaheer not in team, he should lead from front and guide the much younger Kumar. Dinda will be looking to be more consistent in line. Dhoni will look for Yuvraj and Raina to complete the quota of the fifth bowler with some good economy.

However, India’s major concern will be their top order batting. There were big scores from either of their opening batsmen, who once considered as the best opening pair in the world since very long time. Their places in the team were in doubt with few youngsters knocking the door hard.

One of them is Ajinkya Rahane who didn’t get a place in the playing eleven even with good knocks in the T20 series. He is expected to play tomorrow as there are concerns about Virat Kohli’s fitness. Kohli injured his foot during the first odi while trying to bowl. And this will also help Rohit to make into the eleven even after failing continuously at the international level.

Yuvraj and Raina will be looking to score some runs. Dhoni will be hoping to see a better score by the time he comes to crease which is not the case in the first ODI.

Exited to see what’s going to happen at Eden? You should wait for few more hours to see the match start and let’s see who is going to have a smile on their face!!
